Veteran’s One Stop Resource Center:

All Veterans that attend SWTDT will have access to a Veterans Resource room where they will have the use of a computer, a quiet place to study, and the ability to sit down one on one with a Veteran Outreach Representative to assist with any challenges that may arise. Whether it is a fax machine or cup of coffee; this resource room and Veteran Services Staff are at your disposal.

If you are a Veteran and no longer have VA educational benefits available to you; our Veterans Services Staff will introduce you to additional options that you may be eligible for such as:

State Grants:

Southwest Truck Driver Training is a training provider for the Workforce Investment Act. We have been successful in training hundreds of agency students from Pima County One-Stop Centers, DES Vocational Rehabilitation, DES Jobs, Santa Cruz Workforce, Maricopa Workforce Connection, Phoenix Workforce Connection, City of Phoenix, Friendly House, and many others. Contact an Admissions Representative to find out more about available grants.

Private Lenders:

Southwest Truck Driver Training works with the top lenders in the truck driver training industry. Each of these lenders has different requirements for funding, so contact a Financial Aid Representative to see which lender would be right for you. Most student loans payments do not start until 60 days after graduation which gives you time to secure a good-paying position before making any payments.

In-House Financing:

For students who do not meet State grant requirements, or do not meet the requirements of our private lenders, Southwest Truck Driver Training offers an in-house tuition program to help meet your needs. Contact a Financial Aid Representative to find out more about this program!
